On May 15th, about 30 members of the NIRS attended a pruning workshop at the Comox Valley Rhodo Garden with instruction provided by Roberta Jensen of the former Jensen’s Nursery in Comox.
During this informative morning, members learned the correct way to prune rhododendrons.
Many had an opportunity for some “hands on” practise before heading home, eager to put their new found skills to the test in their own garden beds.
