Meetings and Activities:

Our  Next Meeting is Tuesday, September 15th at 7:00 pm – Please note that this is one week later than most monthly meetings due to the lateness of Labour Day this year – doors open at 6:30 pm at Comox United Church hall, 250 Beach Drive, Comox.    Our program will be a presentation on Azaleas by Chris Southwick and Sue Klapwijk.   And yes, Azaleas are, in fact, members of the Rhododendron genus, in the familyEricaceae.      

As always, we will have refreshments (delicious) at the break – so come and enjoy garden talk, learn, have some fun, and find out more about this interesting group and a shared love of gardening.

We welcome guests to our meetings – please come and check us out!

Milner Gardens and Woodland – Check their website for new activities 

Vancouver Island University’s Milner Gardens & Woodland is a seaside garden in Qualicum Beach.     Milner Gardens are undertaking an upgrade of the slope on the eastern side of the tea-house – this upgrade will expand the rhododendron garden, using large rhodos which will stabilize the slope and display larger varieties of rhododendrons.
