Meetings and Activities:

Our  Next Meeting is Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 pm – – doors open at 6:30 pm at Comox United Church hall, 250 Beach Drive, Comox.    Our program will be a presentation titled “Gardening in Times of Climate Chaos” by Arzeena Hamir, organic farmer and food security advocate who holds a bachelor’s degree in crop science and a master’s degree in sustainable agriculture.   

As always, we will have refreshments (delicious) at the break – so come and enjoy garden talk, learn, have some fun, and find out more about this interesting group and a shared love of gardening.

Milner Gardens and Woodland – Check their website for new activities 

Vancouver Island University’s Milner Gardens & Woodland is a seaside garden in Qualicum Beach.     Milner Gardens are undertaking an upgrade of the slope on the eastern side of the tea-house – this upgrade will expand the rhododendron garden, using large rhodos which will stabilize the slope and display larger varieties of rhododendrons.
