Members’ Garden Visits 2019
Throughout the spring and summer months, some NIRS members open their gardens for viewing by our members. Traditionally, Robert Argall starts the touring season off and on Sunday April 14th, he once again invited members to view his beautiful Spring garden.
This was followed on June 8th by associate members Doug and Jillian Kitts in Parksville opening their garden. On Friday, June 14th, Kailey & Nathalie Cauldwell-Waluk opened their spectacular garden in Comox for a tour and a sale of some exotic plants. Many members took advantage of this opportunity.
On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16th, Kirk Waugh and Yvonne Van den Brink invited members to tour their gorgeous garden on Guthrie Road. The following week, on June 26th, Summer Joy & Jim Webb opened their unique ‘Gardeners Green’ garden on Merville Road. Many of these gorgeous gardens may be featured on a future NIRS annual Garden Tour.
Thanks to all our members who generously opened their gardens during the summer months, and once again, a special thank you to Diana Scott for sharing some of her wonderful photos.
