On Thursday, May 23rd, our spring bus tour organized by Pauline Thompson saw 39 members and guests travel to the Cowichan Valley. NIRS Associate member Allan Murray helped to arrange five beautiful gardens to explore.

The gardens visited were owned by Don Lowen & Louise Nevue, John & Glynnis Ballard, Al & Liz Murray, Bill & Brenda Dumont and Allie Morris.

Time also permitted a final stop at Alba Plants Nursery owned by Gordon McKay. Photos of the day’s events were provided by Diana Scott and Lois Clyde.
