Executive Meeting – Wednesday, May 1st @ 10 AM.
On Wednesday, May 1st, the NIRS executive will meet at the Comox United Church to conduct its monthly business. The executive members are asked to review the minutes of the April 3rd executive meeting in preparation for this meeting.
Annual Mother’s Day Garden Tour on Sunday, May 12th in the Comox/Courtenay East area.
On Sunday, May 12th, the NIRS will hold it’s Annual “Mother’s Day Garden Tour” featuring some fabulous gardens in the Comox/Courtenay East area. These gardens will be open for viewing from 10 AM until 4 PM. Participants will visit seven (7) very different private gardens from Urban size lots to acreage properties. Receive a ticket to be entered into a free draw for a beautiful rhododendron!

Annual General Meeting – Tuesday, May 14th @ 6:30 PM
On Tuesday, May 14th, we welcome members to attend our Annual General Meeting held in Adrianne McNabb’s garden, 14 Little Bear Way in Royston.
Receive reports from the executive board and various committees on the activities of the past year. We will also be holding our elections for those board members whose positions are ending this term – President, Vice President, and two Director positions. Some incumbents have agreed to let their names stand. If any member wishes to put forward their name, or to nominate another member for one of these positions, please notify Nominations Chair Dave Godfrey by email at davegod@shaw.ca by May 7th, 2024. Adrianne is inviting members to arrive around 6:30 PM in order to tour her lovely garden before the meeting begins at 7:30 PM. Please bring a lawn chair.
