Mothers’ Day Garden Tour 2019<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/a> Gardens from the Courtenay East and Comox area were featured on this year’s annual ‘Garden Tour’ fundraiser. With the support of many NIRS members and the public, this year’s tour on May 12th was another great success! Many thanks to those who offered their beautiful gardens for this tour – Adela Smith, Barb Simonson, Beth & Peter Sanderson, Lily & John Vanderhorst, Arnie & Anne Sollberger and Gene & Sharon Scheidl. Special thanks to Ruth and Howard Fowler for hosting our after-tour gathering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an added bonus this year, members of the public had an opportunity to purchase rhododendrons from the chapter’s Propagation Group located at the Smith’s garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to NIRS members Noni Godfrey, Carolyn Chester, Maureen Denny and Ruth Fowler for organizing the event. Also, a BIG special thank you to Diana Scott for once again sharing many of her wonderful photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratuations to Paulette Weighill winner of the Garden Tour draw for rhododendron ‘PJM’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
