On Thursday, May 12th, our spring bus tour organized by Pauline Thompson and Christine Aldred saw 39 members and guests travel to the Parksville\/Qualicum area to visit gardens of the M.A.R.S.chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These were a few of the gardens featured on the 2016 MARS Mother’s Day Garden Tour on the previous weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The gardens visited were owned by Doug Kitts & Jillian Withers, Maria & Al Bieberstein, Doug & Skip Cockburn, Arlene & John England, and Linda, Al & Elaine Derkach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because the tours of the gardens ended much earlier than expected, the group had time for a visit to the Qualicum Museum before being hosted at the Derkach seaside garden for appetizers and refreshments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Parksville-Qualicum Bus Trip 2016 This is one of our Special Gallery Photo Albums.
