Beginning on March 23rd, a work party was held to move plants from the greenhouse, fertilize, water and inventory the hundreds in stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Members of the NIRS Propagation Group then met on Saturday, April 6th at the home of Garth Wedemire & Sue Grant to discuss our progress to date and plans for the coming season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A watering schedule was prepared to care for the plants through the dry summer months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With plants set aside for the April Sale, on Saturday, April 13th, there was a ‘members only’ sale which allowed members of the NIRS an opportunity to purchase plants at our wholesale prices. Despite the rainy weather, 18 members bought a total of 107 plants.
