On Tuesday, April 22nd, twenty-three members of the NIRS paid a visit to Whidbey Island rhododendron gardens in Washington State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A welcoming salmon BBQ was held at Lounsberry’s Park hosted by Jack and Norma Lounsberry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The next day our group toured several prominent gardens on Whidbey Island followed by a pot luck dinner for members of both chapters hosted by Kathy and Barry Rix.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Whidbey Island Garden Tour 2008 Return to the Special Galleries Page or Return to the NIRS Home Page.
