Propagation Workshop - 2013

On Saturday, September 21st, a dozen members of the NIRS travelled to 'Hidden Acres' gardens
in Campbell River for a propagation workshop hosted by Paul and Lynn Wurz.
Paul explained his methods of propagating rhodos during a tour of his propagation shed.
The group then toured the gardens collecting samples of rhododendrons they liked,
before heading back to the greenhouse for a hands-on demonstration and practise.
While in the garden area, Brian Staton kindly demonstrated how rhodos can be propagated by layering.
Thanks to Paul and Lynn for hosting the very appreciative group of members.
